Hello all,
I am Yvonne and I am passionate about creating all manner of art, and what better place to create art than in the theater?

I graduated with my MFA in Scenic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where I designed three shows for the Department of Theatre, and designed scenic elements for many more in various class projects.

I was a graduate assistant in the prop shop during my three years at Illinois, where I altered, painted, and fabricated props and furniture for over a dozen shows. I also took on the role of Scenic Charge for the play Titus Andronicus, and I was responsible for planning and executing the painting of all scenery pieces.

I was a prop intern in 2018 at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival, where I worked on six new plays. I was also the prop carpenter at the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival in 2019 where I altered and fabricated props and furniture for five shows.

I graduated from Lawrence University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts. At Lawrence, I worked in the scene shop for 4 years, assisting in building scenery, painting, and fabricating a few props. I also designed scenery for two plays.
